GENERAL POLICY

New Students

New students will be accepted for enrollment the second Wednesday of every other month (Cosmetology). Students must enroll in advance of each starting date through the Admissions Director. Classes are limited to ensure maximum personal attention by instructors.

Re-admissions

Any student previously enrolled who did not complete training may re-enroll one time, provided they have zero dollar balance on all school contract charges.

Requirements for Admissions

All applicants are required to visit the school for a personal interview with the Director of Admissions. An applicant is encouraged to apply for admission as far in advance of the starting date as possible.

An Applicant must be at least 17 years of age on or before the first day of class.

An applicant must have in his possession proof of a high school diploma or a high school general education development (G.E.D.) certificate.

An applicant wishing to enroll for the instructor training course must have a valid Missouri Cosmetology License. All applicants must be in good mental and physical health. American College of Hair Design does not recruit students already admitted to another school.

Credit for Previous Training

American College of Hair Design will accept 500 credit hours for previous training, provided there is proof of said credit and that the credit was earned in an accredited school of cosmetology as recognized by the Missouri State Board of Cosmetology.
